Launching a new location or moving to a new facility is a huge task – but setting up the IT infrastructure doesn’t have to be a headache. Granado Technologies offers Infrastructure Setup & Relocation services to handle all your technology needs during office openings, expansions, or moves.
Infrastructure Setup & Relocation
End-to-End IT Infrastructure Deployment – Hassle-Free New Office Setup
What We Do for New Setups & Moves:
We act as your dedicated IT project team, making sure that when “move-in day” arrives, every computer, phone, and system is ready to go.
IT Infrastructure Planning
Early in your expansion or relocation project, we’ll collaborate with you (and your architects or general contractors) to plan the IT requirements for the new space. This includes network and power layouts for workstations, server room design (racks, cooling, UPS placement), and low-voltage cabling plans. By integrating IT planning at the construction or renovation phase, we avoid costly rework and ensure necessary conduits, outlets, and air conditioning are in place.

Coordinating Internet & Telecom Services
We take the lead in arranging internet connectivity and phone services for your new site. This means interfacing with ISPs to order circuits (fiber, broadband, etc.), scheduling installations, and making sure bandwidth will meet your needs. If you have a VoIP or cloud phone system, we extend that service to the new location; if you use traditional phone lines, we ensure they’re activated and patched to the right spots.

Hardware Deployment
As the space is ready, our team moves in to set up all IT hardware. We install network racks and cabinets, then mount switches, patch panels, and servers in the server room. We deploy and connect all the workstations, laptops, printers, phones, and other devices throughout the office or store. Every device is placed, plugged in, and powered on in its designated location. We also handle specialty equipment – for example, setting up point-of-sale terminals and receipt printers in a retail store, or specialized machinery interfaces in an industrial site.

Structured Cabling Implementation
Our technicians will install any required network cabling or make final connections if cabling was pre-installed. We’ll test all network jacks at desks, conference rooms, security cameras, and other endpoints to ensure they link back properly to the network closet. Wi-Fi access points are mounted and wired. Essentially, we tie together the entire network fabric so that each port is live and accounted for.

Systems Configuration & Testing
Once everything is connected, we configure the network on-site: setting up the switches, connecting to the corporate network or configuring local servers, and ensuring printers and peripherals are recognized.
Thorough testing is done – every PC gets on the internet, phones can dial out, printers print, and critical applications can be accessed. We simulate a “day in the life” of the office to catch any issues. If it’s a store, we test transactions on POS systems; if it’s an office, we test email, file sharing, etc.

Relocation Services
If you are moving existing equipment from an old location to a new one, we plan and execute that as well. We’ll label and safely de-install all hardware at your old site, pack it securely, and transport it to the new site. Our team then reinstalls and configures the equipment in the new space. We coordinate this closely with your move schedule – often performing the move overnight or over a weekend – to minimize business downtime. We won’t leave the old site until it’s properly decommissioned (all data wiped from any gear you’re discarding, and all valuable equipment accounted for).

Go-Live Support
On the day your new location opens or your office re-opens in the new space, Granado will have technicians on standby (either on-site or remotely monitoring) to support you. If any hiccups occur – a user can’t log in, a display isn’t working, etc. – we address it immediately. Our presence during “go-live” ensures a smooth start in the new environment. You’ll have peace of mind that IT issues won’t mar your grand opening or first day.

With Granado handling your infrastructure setup or move, you essentially have a project manager and full IT deployment team dedicated to your opening. We coordinate with other vendors (electricians, furniture installers, alarm companies) so that technology installs happen at the right time in the sequence. Our experience in orchestrating these projects means we know how to avoid common pitfalls and delays.
From small office moves across town to setting up multiple new retail stores across the country,we have the capacity and know-how to scale to your needs. And because we also offer ongoing managed services and support, the transition from “setup” to “maintenance” is seamless – the same partner who built your tech will be there to support it day-to-day.
Benefits
No lost productivity due to delays, no finger-pointing between vendors, and no
unexpected surprises on day one. Everything just works. Your team can walk into a new space and get straight to work as if they’d been there all along.
